Between Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor Ragnarok, and Black Panther, Marvel has been killing it lately with their movies. It’s hard not to be excited about Avengers: Infinity War in May. 🎥
I can’t see why, with Kojima not involved in the series anymore, anyone would buy Metal Gear Survive. It looks like an empty shell of what came before. 🕹
As a regular comic reader, I often struggle with annual issues. The stories, particularly on the Marvel side, are usually forgettable and disappointing. On the other hand, it feels weird to skip any issue of a book I’ve been following for years. 📚
Nothing brings friends together like a Steam sale. 🕹️
There are some great Marvel books on sale at ComiXology for Valentine’s Day, including every issue of the criminally underappreciated Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane and the practically mandatory Spider-Man: Blue. 📚
I’ve realized the only reason I still use Twitter is for immediate tech support or for asking businesses questions. This hardly seems like a reason to keep it around.
I know I’m super late to the party but Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is a beautiful game, clearly has a Gone Home or Vanishing of Ethan Carter vibe to it. 🎮
The broadcast feature on Google Home is the best.
Spending the evening backing up and installing the newest build of Raspbian on my Raspberry Pi. @pyrmont, this is 100% your fault. 😂
Between the Venom Inc crossover and the throwaway issue with Zodiac, getting caught up on Amazing Spider-Man has been a real challenge. I can’t wait until we get a new creative team, which I’m sure will bring some life back to the series. 📚
Nice to see The Verge is still here to remind us how upset they all are about losing the headphone jack on their phones.
This week’s pull list is a doozy. 📚
Had I finished Wolfenstein II in time, I’m certain it would have ended up on my Games of the Year list for last year. I really enjoyed it. 🎮
I’m still playing around with Jekyll and Forestry trying to figure out how exactly (if at all) it’ll fit into my current setup. I’ve never particularly enjoyed having to open MarsEdit just to fire out a quick update so maybe this could fill in that gap.
While I haven’t had a ton of time with them yet, I really like the Pixel Buds. Audio quality is solid, Google Assistant is super helpful, gestures are responsive and easy to use, and the soft case and nylon cord connecting the buds are nice touches.
